Lifestyle Cinematography is a style of filmmaking which aims to portray real-life situations in a simi-controlled setting. Lighting is bright, airy and natural-looking. There are many commercial applications including magazine editorial, television and advertising usage.
Photojournalism, Documentarian or "Street Cinematography" is a particular form of filmmaking that creates images in order to tell a story. Distinguished from other close branches of filmmaking by the qualities of: Timeliness - the images have meaning in the context of a recently published record of events, Objectivity - the situation implied by the images is a fair and accurate representation of the events they depict in both content and tone, as well as narrative - the images combine photographic elements to show relatable facts to the viewer or reader on a cultural level clearly outlining the accompanying story.
